hi I thought it was about time that I got back to posting a reply to my questions about DLA and EESA I was awarde the lower rate of DLA so I am pleased to get that extra bit of help with coping with some day to day tasks, as for the EESA I had to attend an other medical to see if I am capable of doing some sort of work I dont know how long they will take to decide. personally I think I would need some sort of training as I have always done manual work. I think it will be quite dificult for me as I have no qualifications, so once agai thank you for the help and advice

Hi. It might be worth calling the Access to Work scheme. They are based at job centres. Not many people seem to know about this scheme. They offer all sorts of help and advice and they can help with financial costs of travel to work and adapting work and office equipment. It will be well worth finding out what help is on offer even if there's nothing available for you in terms of retraining for a new job as at least when you do get back into work you'll know what help you can get. They help me with the cost of taxis to work. Best wishes with your endeavours from Naomi,
